Email Functionality

You can keep track of the emails sent from your pracflo account via email history.  This is located in Settings > Email History.

Statuses:

You will see a range of different email statuses as follows:

Pending - The email is processing and has not yet left our server.  You can cancel sending in this status by clicking the options dropdown and choosing 'Cancel sending'.

Sending - The email is in the process of being transmitted to the recipients server.  Message cant be cancelled.

Delivered - The mail has been received by the recipients server.

Bounced - The message has failed and has been returned to us.  Please click the drop down and click on 'View Message Logs' to view the raw server logs to see clues on why it may have bounced.

Failed - Our server has refused to send your message - Usually because it has no recipients or is missing a mandatory attachment.

Server logs:

If you wish to diagnose a bounce, you can click the dropdown and click 'View message logs'. This is raw server logs and may not make any sense to you - but it may contain information on why it bounced.  E.g. user does not exist (Incorrect email address).  If you are unsure please copy and paste this message into a support ticket and we will examine it.

Resend Message:

Messages without an attachment can be resent - click the dropdown and click resend message.  We delete attachments as soon as the message leaves our server, so anything with an attachment will need to be sent using its original method.

Opened Flag:

This will turn to a green tick when the message has been opened by the recipient.  Please note this is not 100% as it is dependent on the recipients email client security settings and image downloading.
